The
Lac de Naussac is the largest in the Lozère and
this site has direct access to the lake. With friendly
family owners, this very spacious campsite and hotel complex
is set out on the side of a steep hill at nearly 1,000
m. altitude (nights can be cold). There are 180 good size
grassy, gently sloping pitches, often with part hardstanding
(165 for touring). All have 6A electricity and many have
panoramic views over the lake and surrounding hills. There
are many small trees on site offering some shade on a
few of the pitches. There is a small pool and various
other leisure amenities, with plenty of room for children
to play, although the facilities are widely spaced around
this hilly site. The lake offers a wide range of water
based activities, notably sailing and fishing. This is
a superb walking and bike riding country and the long
distance Stevenson trail passes close by at Langogne.
